How To Force Enable Permanent FCC Mode From CE Mode On DJI Mavic 2 Series Firmware v01.00.0510

Introducing my name Taufiq Hidayat, I just bought a drone from DJI with the Mavic 2 Pro model where this drone has a shape that is identical to the Mavic 2 Zoom series, Mavic 2 Enterprise and Mavic 2 Enterprise Dual Camera.

Before buying a DJI Mavic 2 Pro drone before, I had a DJI Mavic Air drone. At Mavic Air it has shortcomings in flying range which averages in CE mode around 400 Meters and FCC mode around 700 meters. To get FCC mode on Mavic Air, just use fake GPS, but this method cannot be done on Mavic 2 Pro with firmware version 01.00.0510.

When I bought the DJI Mavic 2 Pro it was very impressive, in CE mode it was able to fly with a range of up to 2km, so can my DJI Mavic 2 Pro be permanently changed to FCC mode? The answer can be using NoLimitDronez software. Initially I was a little confused because my firmware was 01.00.0510. in this firmware version there is a term that is Anti Rollback, but all that can be above. Just follow the following tutorial.

Tutorial
1. First you have to buy an Activation Key for your drone, around $ 50. It's quite expensive, but at least it can play Mavic 2 Pro drones on firmware 01.00.0510 in FCC mode. Download the software No Limit Dronez.

2. Download DJI Assistent 2 here.

3. Downgrade Mavic 2 Pro firmware from 01.00.0510 to 01.00.0400 using DJI Assistent 2. When finished, turn off DJI Assistent 2.

4. Open the NoLimitDronez Client and connect to Mavic 2, buy an activation key to register your drone so that it can be modified (at this stage I use PayPal because I happen to have a PayPal balance), note that the firmware on the drone is 01.00.0400.

5. Open the FCC / Signal Boost menu, then select "Enable". Wait until the process is over.

6. After that you can upgrade Mavic 2 firmware to version 01.00.0510 through DJI GO 4 or DJI Assitent, Mavic 2 will still be in FCC mode permanently in the latest version.
